U.S. LOGIC

Aus einem alten amerikanischen Logiklehrbuch aus der Zeit des kalten Krieges:

  1. If the third world war between Russia and the U.S. is to be avoided, then
either Russia or the U.S. must disarm its nuclear misselry.

  2. If a third world war between Russia and the U.S. is not avoided, then if this
war is a nuclear war, Russia and the U.S. will be destroyed and China
will be the dominant world nation.

  3. If Russia and the U.S. are destroyed and China emerges as the dominant
world nation, there will be world socialism.

  4. In fact, neither Russia nor the U.S. will disarm its nuclear misselry.

  5. Moreover, if a third world war between Russia and the U.S. is not avoided,
then this world war will be a nuclear war.

Welche Schlussfolgerungen können aus diesen Prämissen gezogen werden?
